Participants at the sixth CRPF seminar discussed on the challenges migrant domestic workers run into
The sixth Child Research forum of the year organized by Young Lives Ethiopia in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs (MoWSA) and UNICEF Ethiopia was held on the 29th of June at MoWSA.
Dr Tirsit Saheldengil from Addis Ababa University presented a study titled “Trends, Demands, and Challenges of Protecting Domestic Workers: lesson from selected places of Ethiopia” at the seminar. The participants from different institutions debated intensively on the issues raised by the presenter.
The Child Research and Practice Forum meets each month to share recent research findings, policy recommendations and discuss best practices in child, girls and adolescents-focussed programmes.
