CYW-RPF

Children, Youth and Women - Research and Practice Forum

31st October, 15:00 - 17:00

Young Lives will organise the tenth meeting of the year on Thursday (10/31/2024) at 3 PM (EAT). Children, Youth and Women - Research and Practice Forum is a hybrid seminar which will be held at the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs. We would like to invite and encourage our CYW-RPF members to attend the meeting in person at the MoWSA.

This month’s meeting will feature a presentation by Workneh Yadeta on the paper titled “The Impact of the Northern Ethiopia Conflict on Adolescents’ Wellbeing in the Tigray Region,” based on research conducted by GAGE. This presentation offers an insightful exploration into the experiences and wellbeing of adolescents affected by conflict in northern Ethiopia, making it a crucial session for those involved in policy-making, program design, and implementation.

Children, Youth and Women - Research and Practice Forum has been meeting every month for the last 14 years to discuss recent research findings, policy recommendations and best practices in child, girls and adolescent-focused programmes. Young Lives Ethiopia organises the CYW-RPF in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs and UNICEF Ethiopia.
